I love the work you have done. Can it be implemented in the high school level?

I think it's very important for students to have avenues to relate to the mathmatics materials being taught.

Parent involvement seems to be the missing element to improving mathematics education

engaging with parents can’t be one and done; it has to be a thread throughout the year, engaging them as learners and co-educators

I am excited to research the Black Genius online program.

Take away for me is that students come from various cultures and to have those stories, games, et al from their cultures into the classroom to engage them in math in a manner they have experience/confidence in doing.

I love the idea of moms/families as co-designers of academic content. The collaboration with teachers helps them see the relevance of their knowledge to the content and helps the teachers see how to elevate culture as contributors to learning.
